This brand new, fabulous 58ft square stern narrowboat has been built by Bickerstaffe Boat Company. She has been built to a full live-aboard specification in a light and airy contemporary style. She offers flexible 2+2 accommodation with the raised Pullman dinette and there is a spacious saloon with space to make your mark upon the boat with your own furniture. Available to view by appointment at Bickerstaffe's boat yard.
BACKGROUND
Quality steelwork with two sets of side doors an enhanced square cruiser stern by Elton Moss Boatbuilders. Beautiful fit-out in painted panels and light oak trims by The Bickerstaffe Boat Company, with a reverse lay-out offering comfortable 2+2 berth accommodation. Powered by a Vetus 42hp, 4-cylinder marine diesel engine with a PRM 150 D2 hydraulic gearbox.
FROM THE BOW
From the bow which holds the steel storage locker, there is a 4ft open self-draining well deck. The water tank is located beneath the well deck with a surface mounted filler. Locker seats with padded cushions. The boat is fitted with a headlamp, horn and navigation lights. Unique design cratch cover and frame.
GENERIC FIXTURES AND FITTINGS
The exterior is finished with a full 2k paint system to a showroom car finish in Rolls Royce Salamanca blue metallic paint (an included optional extra).
The ceiling, cabin sides and hull sides are lined with painted T&G effect panels and are trimmed with solid light oak. A choice of blinds or curtains. are fitted to all windows and portholes. Flooring is carpet in all areas, apart from the bathroom which has vinyl (wooden floors are an optional extra at 2,500).

CRUISER DECK AND STERN 7′ 6″
Steel rear doors painted wood panelled internally with sliding roof hatch lead onto the square cruiser deck and steering position. The seating in the enhanced cruiser stern is supplied with padded cushions. There are lift-up access panels to the engine and batteries. Gas lockers to either side of the rear doors. Unique design pram cover.
Controls: The single lever engine control is on the port side just inside the stern doors.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The boat is powered by a 42hp Vetus M Line, 4-cylinder, water cooled, marine diesel engine coupled to a PRM 150 D2 gearbox with 2: 1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers twin 12v alternators to charge the start battery and 4 leisure batteries.
BOW-THRUSTER
Vetus 55kgf bow-thruster with controls at the stern
WATER
The 400 litre stainless steel water tank is housed beneath the well deck. Water pump with pressure switch and accumulator is located adjacent to the tank. Twin coil calorifier heated by the engines heat exchanger and/or the Eberspacher diesel fired central heating boiler.
GAS
Space for 2 Propane cylinders on rear deck to provide gas to the oven, grill and hob. (Cylinders not supplied)

EXTERIOR FINISH
The boat has been professionally painted using quality two-pack paint. The hull was blacked when new and is protected by 4 anodes.

Heating is provided by the Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove in the saloon and the Eberspacher diesel fired boiler running 2 radiators and a heated towel rail.
